Professional Experience

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Senior Solutions Architect · Vienna, Austria · July 2022 – Present

Designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for customers across the full spectrum — from startups and small-to-medium businesses to large enterprises and public sector organizations, including universities. Focused on Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), DevOps, and Generative AI, leading numerous projects involving the deployment of machine learning models in production.

I have published 6 technical blog posts on the AWS Machine Learning Blog, some of which directly influenced the development of new AWS managed services. I am also an active open-source contributor, with upstream contributions to MLflow (GitHub) GitHub stars and the Amazon SageMaker Python SDK (GitHub) GitHub stars.

I developed two public workshops used by AWS field teams worldwide and delivered to thousands of customers: Amazon SageMaker Immersion Day (GitHub) GitHub stars and Amazon SageMaker MLOps: from idea to production in six steps (GitHub) GitHub stars.

Beyond content creation, I regularly facilitate multi-day hackathons and innovation events for enterprise customers, resulting in projects going to production. I am a frequent public speaker at AWS Summits, Cloud Days, meetups, and university conferences across Europe (see Talks), and I mentor and onboard fellow Solutions Architects while contributing to building the local AI/ML technical community in Austria.
